Vertical Form Fill and Seal Machines
Our vertical Form/Fill/Seal Machines from Afropak presents the Econopak range of machines. They offer the ideal solution for the automatic forming, filling and sealing of bags of various shapes and sizes. We have been specialising in form fill and seal machines since 1986.
The Econopak range includes weighing and dosing systems. The robust main structure is made from stainless steel. Additionally, the surfaces in contact with the product are of AISI304 stainless steel.
The machines are electro-pneumatically driven and the functions are controlled by PLC connected to an operator touch screen. This touch screen enables the operator to select the required parameters, which are memorized parameters. Troubleshooting can be easily identified by the operator via the touch screen. The standard software, loaded on the PLC, can also accept various accessories.
Accessories
Photocell for printed bag centering, various types of printing unit, bag gusseting and block bottom forming devices are available, as are a gas injection device and special sealing bars.

The capacity and the length of the bag are controlled by the dual-frequency converter.
It has CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) and a wide range of adjustments. It can integrate with the current production line layout and setup.
The length of the bag can be monitored by a highly sensitive response photoelectric device automatically and accurately, it is not necessary to adjust manually after setting.
Separate temperature control for each sealer makes an accurate and precise seal, suitable for a wide variety of flexible packing materials.

Below we list the common types of form fill and seal machines according to what they package.
For bags and pillow packs a lower reel flow-wrapper; flow-wrapper; stickpack machines; vertical form fill and seal or a mandrel form fill seal machine is used.
For bottles or vials a blow fill seal machine is used.
